AppShell Policies

Update, Upgrade & Price Policies

	AppShell^TM products is our new TradeMark name for the Duke Application Shells.
	We are carrying forward the same update policy with respect to the AppShell^TM products.
	New AppShell^TM products under development now will of course have their own price.
	DerivedShell^TM products will have a license upgrade price providing you already own the corresponding AppShell^TM product.
	Otherwise it will have it's own DerivedShell^TM product new license purchase price.
	All passcodes will be changed occasionally.
	Existing owners can request new passcodes.

SHELL PRODUCTS, VERSIONS, TYPES & PRICE POLICIES EXPLAINED...

There are presently three Shell "Types" and they are:
1.) AppShell^TM C55 Version
2.) AppShell^TM (Beta) C61 Version
3.) DerivedShell^TM C55 Version (A more ready to sell "Type" of "Shell")

The pricing for each "Product" license will vary depending on
which Product you:
1.) Want to license for the first time or
2.) Already have a license for now and
3.) Want to upgrade a license to and/or
4.) Want to update a license to.

UPDATES and UPGRADES explained...
1.) UPDATES: Minor fixing of stuff that does not "work right" and have
only a minor effect on the Product's .app file and/or .dct file.

2.) UPGRADES: Significant "changes in functionality" that have
considerable effect both the Product's .app file code and/or .dct file.

How it works...
1.) UPDATES for a Windows Version Product to the same
Windows Version Product are free. Just request the new passcode
(if required) by using the contact form provided from the button to the left.

2.) UPGRADE licenses from a DOS Version Product to the same
Windows AppShell^TM Version Product qualifies for a 50% discount and
can be purchased using the "block amount" selection in the AppShell^TMpurchase table.

3.) UPGRADE licenses from a Windows AppShell^TM Version Product
to the same Windows DerivedShell^TM Version Product carries an
UPGRADE price as reflected in the DerivedShell^TM purchase table.

4.) UPGRADE licenses from a DOS Version Product to the same
Windows DerivedShell^TM Version Product qualifies for using 2.)
and 3.) above "together".

Versions Explained...
1.) AppShell^TM C55 is the "current" Version and is available for
purchase of a license and download here

2.) AppShell^TM C61 is a "Beta" Version with significant
enhancements/changes in the BOTH the .app and .dct portions of the
product. UPDATES to the "Released" Version will be free.

3.) DerivedShell^TM Products have been enhanced/derived by
KwikSYSTEMS^TM ASSOCIATES from the AppShell^TM C55 "current"
Version.

4.) The DerivedShell^TM Products available at present are available for
purchase of a license and download here

5.) Some DerivedShell^TM Products will have several 3rd Party Templates
included in them which can easily be "stripped out" if necessary.

KwikSYSTEMS^TM ASSOCIATES and Comsoft7 have licensed the Application Shells previously known as Duke Application Shells from Gerald W. Duke & Company and will now be the source for those shells as "AppShell^TM" products. We have and will enhance the AppShell^TM products and offer them as some new "DerivedShell^TM" products. The licenses for the DerivedShell^TM products will belong to Comsoft7^TM or KwikSYSTEMS^TM ASSOCIATES depending on who does the derivation.
