Some companies will require that you buy your hardware from
them, allowing them, for all practical purposes, to control you
completely. Computer technology has progressed rapidly and
the price of hardware has dropped dramatically. We see no
reason why you should be forced to buy someone's proprietary
machine. Our products are designed for "off-the-shelf"
hardware... the type you already have in your office.

If
you wish, you can use specialty hardware designed for POS at the
sales counter or the check-out and we can also supply it for you. All of
our various applications can operate a cash drawer. We can
also purchase the hardware, install all add-on boards etc..., install
the software and ship it to you ready to just plug in and run. All you need
to do is physically place the hardware, hook up the various
cables and turn them on.

to do your
own bookkeeping and accounting with a system like ours. It
is sometimes called the "follow the money"
approach.

The above table shows whether
an addition (+) or subtraction (-) takes place when a particular
pair of account types are used together when doing sales/POS
order transactions in the automatic real
time accounting process built into KwikOFFICE™,
KwikSALESTM and
KwikLEDGERSTM and also while the operator is making ledger entries. It's
what we call
the "follow the money" scenario. Forget about
