Select the icon on the desktop to start the KwikSALESTM Backup/Restore Application if installed or the KwikSALESTM Backup/Restore Start Menu Choice...

| The KwikSALESTM Backup/Restore Utility Application main screen will appear...
|

|

|
Set the KwikSALESTM Backup/Restore by clicking on the button...
|

|
|
| Explanation of KwikSALESTM Backup/Restore Options
|
| Backup Type: Data, only backs up the applications data files.
|
| Archive Name: File will have a "date coded name" if checked, otherwise the archive file name will always be Backup.zip. NOTE: If Backup zip is selected (Dated Name NOT checked) each successive backup archive file will copy over the previous archive backup file WITHOUT ANY WARNING. So beware of that fact.
|
| Recursive Directories: If checked, all sub-folders under the application folder/directory will also be archived.
|
| Drive for Backup: This is where you set where the backup/archive file will be written to. NOTE: Whenever the "Current Drive" is "changed/set" using the dropdown field, the |

| Click on Backup or Restore depending on the need.

| KwikSALESTM Backup/Restore select the backup to (Save in:) path...
|
|
|
| Select the |

|
|
|
|
|
|
| Select the drive letter where the backup will be going, whether to recurse the subdirectories under the system directory into the backup, and press the Start button.
|

|
|
|
|
| The backup operation will bake a zipped file named BACKUP.ZIP on the media in the selected drive. PLEASE NOTE THE WARNING IN THE ABOVE DIALOG BOX AND TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO NOT OVERWRITE A NEEDED PREVIOUS BACKUP. It is recommende that a rotation system of multiple backups be used.

| Select the drive location where the restore is to go with the ellipsis button.

|
|
|
|
|
| Select the appropriate .zip file to restore from...
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| If necessary, press the Network... button and follow the dialog box instructions.

| Press the Browse button if necessary to find a network drive to map.
